Variations in the arteries of the upper limb - a clinical apropos

Introduction: Blood supply to the arm and forearm is conveyed by brachial artery its branches, radial ulnar artery. Variations in these arteries are being increasingly reported many studies. Most of variations observed mostly course branching pattern have been accounted be due developmental defect, from varied causes. 
 Materials Methods: In present study dissection was done on fifty seven upper limb specimens obtained college Medicine Health Sciences, Oman. origin forearm, were noted later photographed.
 Results: Out studied four limbs. one there a superficial branch originating artery, that divided into arteries. two limbs median nerve, them coursing nerve had tortuous course. Superficial another limb.
 Conclusion: Surgical procedures arteries, either diagnostic or therapeutic interventions, such as arteriography, flap harvesting, creating arteriovenous fistulas etc. Knowledge essential before any surgical intervention planned order prevent unnecessary complications.
